4.11 Security Policy and Procedure

Choice Community Health is responsible for providing a safe and secure environment to its employees and clients. The security of the life, respect and property of all personnel while they are involved in Choice Community Health operations are given the utmost importance by Choice Community Health

Policy

Choice Community Health is committed to providing clients and employees a safe and secure environment to receive and provide care services. This Policy applies to Choice Community Health in all its operations and functions, including off-site assignments, for example at a client’s home.

Procedure

Security of employees and client’s life and property when they are providing or receiving Choice Community Health care services is the responsibility of Choice Community Health

Risk Assessments

In accordance to the Risk Management policy and procedure, the security risks are assessed and remedial actions are decided, implemented and recorded in the Risk Register.

Office Security

Office security is ensured by using Alarm system as provided by the building. Security guard is present at all times. Only relevant personnel are allowed inside office premises.

Staff Lockers/Drawers

Staff lockers are provided to respective staff members for safekeeping of their possessions. The keys and locks are maintained by the Admin/HR department.

CCTV

CCTV services are installed and maintained. The access to CCTV is only restricted to Directors and People & Culture Manager. CCTV records are stored for one month before auto deletion.

Staff ID Badges

All new staff members are given ID badges which are used for accessing the office premises and also serve as the means for recording attendance.

Off Site Security

When staff is providing off-site services i.e., at a client’s home. The security of both the client and staff member is ensured by following the below guidelines.

GPS Tracking

A GPS tracking service is installed on the staff member’s phone to ensure that their location is monitored and can be accessed in case they become unresponsive.
